A Map for the Walk

Daniel and Paige go for a walk. Their teacher walks with them.

They want to reach the bench. But the path splits in two.

“Which way is it?” asks Daniel. Paige takes out the map.

She points to the bench on the map. The teacher helps them find their path.

“We go left here,” says Paige. Daniel looks along the left path.

He can see the bench past a tree. “There it is!” he says.

They put the map away and walk left. The teacher stays beside them.

Soon they reach the bench. They sit down for a rest.

“The map helped us choose,” says Daniel. They know the way back too.
