Arthur’s Paper Bridge

Arthur and Martin want to make a bridge. They have two blocks and some blue card.
Arthur puts the card on the blocks. His little car goes on top.
The card bends down. The car cannot go across.
Martin folds both sides of the card. Now it has two high edges.
The teacher holds the blocks still. Arthur puts the folded card on them.
Arthur pushes the car along the bridge. This time the card stays up.
The car can go across! Now Martin can have a turn.
