Elsie’s Fruit Salad

Elsie and Louis make fruit salad with Mum. They wash their hands before they start.

Mum cuts a banana into small pieces. Elsie puts the pieces in a big bowl.

Louis adds some orange pieces. The fruit looks bright in the clear bowl.

Mum gives them two little bowls for serving. Elsie puts lots of fruit in her own bowl.

Louis looks at his bowl. There are only two pieces in it.

Elsie sees that the bowls are not the same. She moves some fruit into Louis’s bowl.

Now both bowls have a good share. Mum gives each child a spoon.

They sit down to eat their fruit salad. Louis says he likes the orange best.
