Frances’s Lost Ticket

Frances and Ruth take a train ride with Dad. Frances keeps her ticket in a blue bag.
At the station, Dad asks for the ticket. Frances looks inside her bag.
She finds a scarf and a book. She cannot find the little ticket.
Ruth remembers that the bag has a side pocket. Frances opens the zip on that pocket.
The ticket is tucked beside a packet of tissues. Frances takes it out carefully.
Dad checks that they have all their things. They wait behind the line on the platform.
The train stops, and its doors open. Dad walks on with the girls.
Ruth puts the ticket back in the side pocket. Now they know where to find it.
