Vocabulary

Read these five words from the story. Talk about what they mean.

splash: Liquid scattering when it hits something.
damaged: Harmed or broken in some way.
fresh: New or recently made.
fasten: Fix or join something securely.
recycling: Turning used material into something useful again.
