Hazel’s Sandcastle Wall

Hazel and Laura make a sandcastle. Mum sits on the sand beside them.

Hazel wants a wall around the castle. She piles up some dry sand.

The wall falls down. The dry sand will not stay together.

Mum has a little water in a bucket. Laura pours it onto the sand.

The girls pat the damp sand. They make a low wall.

Now the wall stays up. Hazel puts a shell beside the gate.

Laura makes a path to the gate. Their castle is ready.
