Jack and Dad ride in a van. They stop by a hill.
Jack has a kite in a box. He runs on the grass.
The kite will not go up. “Not yet!” says Dad.
The string has a knot. “Can we fix it?” asks Jack. “Yes,” says Dad.
Dad helps Jack fix the string. Jack zips up his bag.
The wind lifts the kite. Jack and Dad grin. They sit on a rug and eat jam buns.
