Ken Makes Lunch
A classroom cooking story“Can we make lunch?” asked Ken. “Let’s make a sandwich,” said his teacher.
Ken washed his hands. His teacher brought two boiled eggs. They were cool and ready to use.
Ken put two slices of bread on a plate. “We need one tablespoon of mayo too.”
Ken mashed the eggs with a fork. “Mash, mash, mash!”
He added the mayo and stirred. “That looks ready,” said his teacher.
Ken spread the egg onto the bread. “Right to the edges!”
He put the other slice on top. “My sandwich is ready!”
Ken helped tidy the kitchen. Then he sat with his friends for lunch.
