Quinn’s Big Catch

Quinn and Nick play catch. Nick throws the ball. Quinn stretches out her hands.

Quinn misses the catch. The ball rolls under the hedge. She can see a patch of red.

Quinn crouches by the hedge. She cannot reach the ball. “Can you help, Nick?”

Nick gently lifts a branch. Quinn fetches the ball. “Let’s try from here,” she says.

They stand closer together. Nick throws. Quinn catches! “Ready for a quick game?” she asks.
