The Campsite Mix-Up

Sophie and Finn played at the campsite. They made a pretend camp beside Mum’s tent. Now it was time for lunch.

Finn opened his backpack. He found Sophie’s lunchbox and a torch. Sophie found Finn’s lunchbox in her backpack. “Our things are mixed up!” she said.

They emptied both backpacks onto a blanket. Mum’s tent straps fell out too. Sophie stretched the blanket flat. “Let’s sort everything.”

They put the lunchboxes beside the picnic basket. Finn returned the straps to Mum. Sophie packed the torch. “Now we know where things belong.”

After lunch, they played on the grass. Mum helped them pack before sunset. They checked their backpacks. Nothing was missing this time!
