The Chalk Trail

Owen and Ruby make a chalk trail. It goes to the garden bench.

Rain washes one arrow away. Now there is a gap in the trail.

Owen walks to the gap. “Which way do we go?” he asks.

Ruby can see the next arrow. It points to the left.

“We need an arrow here too,” she says. She gets the chalk.

Ruby draws a big arrow in the gap. Owen checks the trail again.

Now every arrow shows the way. The friends follow them to the bench.

Their trail is ready for the class. “Come and try it!” says Owen.
