The Lunchbox Mix-Up
Phase 4 · Book 5Focus mixed digraphs in longer words

Charlotte and Seth play by the fishpond. Mum watches from the bench. Then it is time for lunch.

They open their backpacks. The lunchboxes are mixed up! “This is not mine,” says Seth.

“Which one is yours?” asks Charlotte. They look at the lunchbox tags. Each tag has a name.

Seth checks one tag. “That is Charlotte’s lunchbox.” They swap the boxes back.

They sit on the bench in the sunshine. Charlotte shuts her backpack. Seth grins. “Now we can have lunch!”
