This pot is too small.

Joe brings clearly larger empty terracotta pot beside small plant pot.

Joe gets a bigger pot.

Joe scoops soil into larger terracotta pot, plant remains in narrow pot.

Put some soil in the pot.

Lily gently lifts plant intact root ball from narrow plastic pot.

Lily lifts out the plant.

Lily lowers plant root ball into larger terracotta pot, Joe watches.

Put the plant in this pot.

Joe adds soil around plant in larger pot with small trowel, Lily steadies pot.

Joe puts soil around it.

Both look at same healthy plant in large terracotta pot, empty small plastic pot beside it.

Now the plant has more room.
