The Tray for the Plants

Miles and Julia have plants to move. The pots are on the bench.

Miles picks up two pots. They wobble in his hands.

“Let’s put them down,” says Julia. She finds a tray.

The tray has a firm edge. They put the four pots inside.

Miles holds one end. Julia holds the other end.

They lift the tray and walk slowly. The pots do not wobble.

At the shelf, they put the tray down. Then they move the pots one at a time.

All four plants are in their new place. “Teamwork helped,” says Julia.
