The Wrong Bag

Alice and Will are in the school gym. Alice has a blue bag. Will has a blue bag too. They put their bags by the door.

After the game, Alice picks up a bag. She looks inside. “These are not my shoes!” she says. “Where is my bag?”

Alice looks by the door. One blue bag is still there. She looks at the tag. It has her name on it.

Will comes back to the gym. “Have you seen my bag?” he asks. Alice holds up the bag with his shoes. “Is this yours?” she asks.

Will looks at the shoes. “Yes!” he says. “Our bags look the same.” Alice gives him his bag and picks up her own.

Alice ties a red ribbon to her bag. Will ties on a green one. “Now we can tell them apart,” he says. They walk out together.
