Read one story and answer its questions, or work through both stories.

Put the story in order

Talk Together: when a preferred choice is unavailable

What was each character’s first choice? Why was it unavailable? What questions, time or support helped them?

Practise a question you might find useful: “Why isn’t it available?”, “What other choices are there?” or “Can I have a little time first?” You can speak, write, sign or use a communication device.

You can discuss the characters rather than your own experiences.
