Hazel’s Patchwork Path: Activities
Shared Reading · Year 3. An adult reads the questions and clues aloud. Children can talk, point, sign or choose an answer. For Jumbled Words, show the matching vocabulary word and build it together; children do not need to read independently.

Tell the story
Arrange broad fabric or paper scraps to suggest a familiar journey. Compare different memories respectfully. Ask a partner to follow the route before fixing pieces in place; adults handle any sewing.
